SENIOR ENERGY PROJECT DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

Engineer Néstor Quirós is part of the AnteVista team as a specialist in electrical and energy project development. He holds a degree in Electromechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Project Management, supporting his ability to lead complex initiatives in the energy infrastructure sector.

Throughout his career, Eng. Quirós has gained extensive experience in the design, evaluation, and execution of renewable energy projects, including photovoltaic solar plants, hydroelectric power stations, and wind farms. In the field of wind energy, he has been involved in site resource assessments, capacity factor evaluations, preliminary wind farm layouts, and transmission grid interconnection studies, providing a comprehensive understanding of the technical, regulatory, and economic aspects of these projects.

His technical profile is complemented by advanced expertise in engineering automation tools, programming for technical applications (Python, AutoLISP, and Ruby), and technical and financial feasibility analysis. These skills allow him to optimize processes, reduce design times, and ensure highly efficient and high-quality outcomes.

His main areas of specialization include electrical engineering applied to renewable energy, feasibility studies, energy infrastructure design, transmission line planning, and full-cycle project management. His analytical approach, commitment to technical excellence, and strategic integration capabilities make him a key asset for the success of the projects he leads and supports.

BERNARDO BAEZA SANDI

SENIOR SITE SUPERVISOR – RENEWABLE ENERGY

Bernardo Baeza Sandi is a distinguished site manager specializing in the assembly of electric power generation projects. He is recognized for achieving successful outcomes in complex, high-impact environments. An expert in the commissioning of electrical and electromechanical systems for renewable energy plants — including both hydroelectric and wind power facilities — he brings over 20 years of experience leading technical teams and ensuring successful project delivery.

He has played a key role in landmark projects in Costa Rica such as the Orosí Wind Farm, Torito Hydroelectric Plant, Balsa Inferior Hydroelectric Plant, and the substations of the SIEPAC system. His professional background includes collaborations with international companies such as Iberdrola, Alstom, Techint, HL Ingenieros, Gamesa, and Unión Fenosa.

Throughout his career, he has held critical roles including assembly technician and supervisor of electrical and welding workshops. His hands-on expertise covers conventional and GIS substations, wind turbines, power generators, instrumentation systems, and port installations. Bernardo actively contributes to the energy transition with technical precision, operational leadership, and a strong commitment to quality at every stage of the project.

MARYCARMEN RAMOS

PROJECT MANAGER AND LAND ACQUISITION

With a foundation in real estate since 2009, MaryCarmen Ramos brings over 15 years of experience navigating complex transactions—representing residential buyers and sellers, supporting investors in building real estate portfolios, and brokering both commercial properties and industrial land deals.

In 2021, she joined Antevista as Office Manager, where her leadership and organizational strengths quickly stood out. By 2022, she was promoted to Project Manager and Land Acquisition, taking a leading role in renewable energy development and site acquisition strategy.

Since 2024, MaryCarmen has also served as a partner at Antevista. As Project Manager, she oversees the coordination of team activities across multiple workstreams—managing priorities, deadlines, and responsibilities through detailed tracking systems. Her hands-on approach ensures transparency, accountability, and steady progress at every stage. Today, she draws on her expertise in land use, contract negotiation, and stakeholder engagement to advance sustainable energy initiatives with clarity, commitment, and purpose.
